Hopefully (insert heavy sarcasm here) Karl Lagerfeld approves of Adele's nails and certainly lengthy, creme-polished talons with long oval tips are very definitely the nail style of choice for smokey chanteuses Adele and can't-get-away-from-her-right-now Lana Del Rey.
Lana's are a bit bonkers though - reckon she'd be able to play any video games with those yokes on, eh?
What do you think of the look? It takes the old-skool ladylike ovals Dior and Tom Ford brought back into fashion for Autumn 2011 and ramps them up to the maxXx - and then some. This ain't for the faint hearted - you need gel tips or fake nails (Lorraine ought to go for them so) as well as a serious nail file habit, not to mention a minder. There's no way you'll be able to go to the jacks unaided with these on the end of your fingers either ... ouch ...
