Michelle Dockery's lipstick shade is not too bright, not too dark. It's the perfect shade for this time of year.
It's not often that we talk about the same product twice in one day, but when we saw this image of Michelle Dockery at the Emmys wearing this absolutely gorgeous shade of lipstick we had to do a double-take. It is almost exactly the same as the lipstick Sarah Jane used to create her glitter lips look earlier today.

Model Abby wearing Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Violine Strasse (€10.49)
Now, it's not a perfect match, and obviously, Abby's look is glittery. However, it's close enough and a really lovely shade for the autumn months.
We had a root around our stash and discovered three more shades that are also along the same berry lines.

The texture of the season seems to be matte (or glitter, of course). However, Michelle's finish is quite glossy. Obviously, you can play with texture by adding a gloss over matte lip. We are loving this one from Catrice, that has lip-plumping action and won't alter the shade too much.
Have you made the transition to more autumnal lippy shades yet?
