Paid partnership with Clarins
Wearing foundation at home is the new WFH. Recently I've been WFH with Clarins' new Everlasting foundation and concealer. Whatever your definition, in the current climate I look for products that I can rely on and when something claims to be 'lifeproof'' I feel it's worth a try. The Everlasting range is the newest release from tried and tested brand Clarins. The past year has definitely made me re-evaluate my makeup bag. While I have enjoyed some bare faced days, my makeup routine is something I look forward to each morning. It's my few minutes of zen before the zoom calls begin and afterwards I'm ready for anything.
Clarins Everlasting Long-Wearing Hydrating Matte Liquid Foundation €35
This foundation has a full coverage matte finish without feeling heavy on your skin. Clarins pride themselves on the in-depth research that goes into each product. Not only will the Everlasting foundation leave you looking flawless, but it has added skincare benefits. The formula contains organic oat and bamboo extracts which boost firmness throughout the day. It comes in 35 shades of cool, warm and neutral tones. This formula features Clarins signature skin tone optimizing complex which uses pink pearls and soft-focus powders to create a luminous even skin tone. It is suitable for all skin types. If you have combination or oily skin I would recommend setting this with a light loose powder if required. If your skin is on the drier side, I would recommend prepping the skin with a moisturiser and hydrating primer. Powder and cream products also blend beautifully on top. The formula is mask-proof, which is essential at the moment. The formula is long-wearing, so once applied you can rely on it from your morning coffee to your evening cocktail - no top ups required!

Also new to this range is the Everlasting concealer. Firstly, the packaging is super makeup-bag friendly and allows you to dispense your desired product amount with ease. Secondly, the concealer comes in 8 shades. As a result, you can match your duo perfectly to suit your skin tone. In addition it's formulated with escin, derived from horse chestnuts which has de-puffing properties. The full coverage and illuminating finish blurs and covers dark circles without weighing down the under eye. The formula blends easily to cover blemishes and any other imperfections in seconds. Because of the quinoa extract within the formula, the skins barrier is reinforced and hydrated all in one. My favourite way of applying this concealer is focussing the product on the inner and outer corner of the eye. Blending up and towards the hairline on the outer corner creates a lifted effect.
