Get the look with… Armani Lip Wax

Armani lip wax

Berry-stained lips were all over the catwalks this season, and this is one trend that actually translates pretty easily to real life. You can apply this look yourself by patting matte or cream-finish lipstick into your lips with your fingertip instead of applying straight from the tube or with a brush. If you want to try this look with a new and highly covetable product, however, I have to recommend the new Giorgio Armani Lip Wax.

The product-naming department must have been on holidays the day this was named, but apart from that, this is a lovely product. Housed in a black lacquered compact with a handy mirror inside the lid, these little pots of colour come in 6 shades (nude beige, rose pink, warm brown, deep raspberry, vibrant red and deep wine). Apply them by simply pressing on the colour with your fingertip for a pretty, stained look or use a lip brush for more precision. You could even blend a small amount into the apples of your cheeks for a coordinating blush. The finished look is a matte, velvety stain of colour that looks very soft and natural and isn’t at all drying.

Priced at €26, these aren’t exactly cheap, but I think they’re lovely and a great way of buying into one of the Autumn/Winter trends if you want to update your look a little bit! Get them from Giorgio Armani counters in Brown Thomas while they last, as they seem to be a limited edition product.

I like balms and no harm having a bit of Armani in the bag – have to wait unitl I’m in a city that stocks it though. I love the models make up and hair colour up there.

I’ve a chantecaille burgundy/red which I love and which looks great patted on, as opposed to the full lip liner/brush monty

I have 2 balms from MAC that I really like. Only thing is your lips really have to be perfect for balms and mine are prone to dryness.

BTW – I don’t like her eyebrows – just everything else.

this looks lovely. except in real life a bit of gloss over lipstick really brings the whole thing together and stops your lips going dry.

Becks – Those brows are the height of fashion. Brows are big this winter.

80′s brows are back? Im in luck so…
I like the sound of a wax for the lips, it sounds kinda moisturising….just the thing for winter

I like my brows big (I have hardly any so I can’t do much with them) But I won’t be doing what looks like random stokes with a brown eyeliner like what’s up there no matter how ‘in’ it is.
