Jesus Victoria Jackson will yis ever shag off.
I can’t tell you how many enquiries I’ve had to field lately from people wondering what Victoria Jackson makeup is like. Usually because a representative had called to their place of work/ front door and persuaded them to buy a feckin caseload of the stuff.
No, we don’t recommend them and here’s why:
Never trust anyone who has been saying for the last year or so that they will be in BTs ‘soon’. No you won’t be in BTs soon Victoria Jackson. And in fact if I were involved with the management of BTs Beauty Hall I would track you down and kick your ass.
Never trust men/women with cases full of makeup calling to your work or trying to doorstop you. Is this the hallmark of a reputable company? Eh, no. It’s a bit like getting one of those stickers through the door for clothes collection. Or the beautiful original works of art.
Never trust something that’s marketed as too good to be true. It IS too good to be true!
It was when they called to the door of Beaut.ie Parents, the workplace of Beaut.ie Sister AND Beaut.ie Pals in the same week I thought enough already! (All located in different areas).
Now if you’d like to prove me wrong Victoria Jackson Cosmetics Ltd please feel free to send us some of your lovely makeup to try and we will review it without prejudice. I would love to post a picture of your fine makeups but it seems you don’t have a website. And if you also have some confirmation of your imminent arrival in BTs sure send that along too.
So it’s over to you, Beaut.ies. What have your experiences of Victoria Jackson been?

These people who are out there trying to sell and “promote” this cosmetic product work for a dodgy South Dublin based Marketing firm called “Majestic Marketing”. I passed the interview stages and it wasnt until my first real work day that I found out what they really do. They go door to door, business to business and approach random people in the street. They have been selling these products for at least 2 years now. These ‘crappy’ cosmetic products are made in the same factories that the ‘cheap’ make up which you can find in Tescos and the 2 Euro shops are manufactured in. They have caused rashes and irritation to the skin of many consumers. The “expensive” looking packaging makes the product look great!, when in reality its a piece of sh@te.
These products will never end up in BROWN THOMAS or anywhere else and Majestic Marketing will continue to market these products until they are unable to make any real profit from them any more. ps I am not a woman. I do not no much about make up (not gay.. etc thanks!!!!!
That’s defenitely a scam. There are some marketing companies(majestic, d7 marketing) that “recruits” people, with promises of become a manager within 1 year through their so called “management programme”. A false fairytale, that makes them believe that they can open new offices somewhere else and make a 6 digits income/year. The worst of all is the brainwashing that they actually do in their so called “office” with robot-like slogans “100% effort”, “become a millionaire”. These people selling victoria jackson cosmetics couldn’t be more naive, they actually believe in all that. They are even taught to make jokes of their “customers” who may tell them some gaffe during the sale process!
My friend worked for D7 Marketing all summer long selling this stuff, my friends have tried out the make-up and said it’s not too bad for what you pay for.
Apparently, VJ was the makeup artist on Sex & City and Desperate Housewives, or so they were told.
I agree with what Sarah said above, it’s a desperate attempt to brainwash young people into working 60 hour weeks in the hope that they’ll be a manager soon…
see these comments below from ‘rosabella’ on boards.ie:
“hey guys,
I actually worked for a company called d 7 marketing solutions who distribute victoria jackson make-up, they never mentioned i would be going door to door selling make up in my 2 interviews (even though i asked if the form of marketing was residential). They are horrible people to work for and only employ young, naive guys and girls who are gullable and believe that one day they will be manager.
As for the make up….everything they tell you is a lie. A lie a manager teaches them on a daily basis. The make-up does not cost “€250 but today im gonna drop it down to €30 because she’s trying to get people familiar with her products before she launches into ireland (bt2,brown thomas, grafton street ECT,sure i just sold 4 a min ago-everyones buying them as its such a good deal).”-lies!!!!
its all lies….your actually working for noting unless you sell a set for €30-which earns you €7. Which means,if you only sell 1 set(over a 10 hour day-which is the hours they expect you to work) you actually dont even cover bus and lunch fare.
its not mineral based, nor is it from america. its from china and it comes in a delivery truck that doesnt look like its delivering make-up…more like a painters van! its not retailing @€250 ,nor is it worn by celebs. its not hypo allergenic(which your told to say to people with sensitive skin).
the company brain-washes these young people into thinking its ” a training programme” and needs to be done in order to move up the ladder(its not, there is no ladder to move up).
the company trains new staff in EVERY DAY because only a few believe the lies they are told.
i hope this helps someone.
xx”
ok well thats me not going for an interview anymore…..
I was just about to go in for the “second interview”, something didnt seem right with that place, thanks for confirming my fears and saving me a trip into town!
OMG, just bought it tonight.Am a complete beauty junkie & thought wow! Sex & the City had me completly won over.I did see the “Made in China” label though which I thought was a bit weird!
Tried some of the lip gloss & the colour was nice & it lasted. I bought it for a X-mas pressie for my Sister so will let you know how she gets on.
Ah listen here Victoria Jackson reps we’re closing this thread if you post again. The makeup is utter rubbish so “Casey” and “Coop” you’re out of here.
Grainne – this makeup was never used in SATC!
i worked for a company selling this stuff over summer and i noticed a few things i wanna clear up
1:the makeup is so cheap because it is mass produced- just like any other big selling makeup brand in the world. big difference in price is cuz others brand have to pay for retail overheads, it is made in china but so are a lot of products people use
2:there are a lot of people who are sick of seeing the sales people come around all the time but there are also a lot of people who love it
3: the sales reps do work very long hours to make a living but most of them seem to do it cuz they enjoy it otherwise whats the point
4: the website for these products is http://www.beautygroup.com
everyone is entitled to their opinion on the products, my advice is dont knock it til you try it, but dont feel forced to take it from a sales rep
Sophie – any clues as to why they say they’re going to be in BT’s soon? To be honest i find that a particularly dishonest way of selling your product – surely the product should sell on it’s own merits
Hi ladies,
I would consider myself quite beauty savy but I to got suckered into buying this stuff last Summer when the reps came to my work place. This stuff is rubbish, don’t buy it!
i wish i had seen these posts last week. Went for 1st interview on Monday. It lasted 10mins but it covered the basics, was annoyed i had to go all the way into town but what the hey i needed a job!
Second interview was the next day I was told to wear flat shoes as i would be following around a marketer for the day. Exciting as this is what i wanted to get into. Went on the companys website (for d7 marketing solutions) to do my reserch. They spouted on about promotions and events! all very interesting.
I was told we would be working with Concern out in Lucan…all the while gettin more scepticle. So stupid me thinks i would be working in the concern office discussing how the client wanted to market themselevs! HA couldnt have been more wrong. Out pops a map of houses the had already been to. I was supposed to follow this lad bout my age (22) around from 12-8 and then go back to the office to take a test on what i had learned from my observation/second interview!!!
This was not the job for me so once i say the expected pay (e350 per week) and i would have to do door-to-door sales for 4-6 months b4 being “promoted” i was out of there. I said i was too cold to comntinue and left at 5ish. Funnily enough i still got offered the job that night.(obviously didnt except)!!!! Only regret was not leaving earlier-or better yet turning up at all!
The company (d7 marketing solutions) can afford to take these “trainee managers on” because they dont pay a cent. the money for the sh@t wages comes from victoria jackson or concern. His lies at the doors were cringe worthy and manipulative “all ur neighbours have signed up”, “iv sat down for tea and bikkies with a lot of ur nighbours”.Them along with his cheesy one liners were anough to want to hang myself when i got home. Its actually funny cos he believe the lies he was told, he believes he will be opening an office in France! good luck is all i say!
D7 reps coming to a place near you! So watch out!
a guy came into my workplace today with a great sales pitch and a couple of the girls brought stuff im glad i have bills to pay this month and didn’t fall for the lines
Hi I’m from SA and just got conned by the sales team. Feel very dissapointed as I bought it as christmas gifts ;( I have not tried it and hope that I won’t break out in any rashes.
I feel really stupid
Kelbell- This is just a line the reps use to give it prestige.. they aren’t taught what exactly to say about products and no one is there to correct them, so whatever works….
I think some ppl on here are getting a bit too fired up ova nothing. Its 30 euros for a stack of stuff, of course its not gonna be designer quality!
