Pixie if you have some time off, BT’s early on a weekday morning is the best time to go. All the SA’s are bored and will quite happily do your make-up, give advice and free samples!

i was away for a few days in UK and when I went to collect car from car hire, i discoverd to my shock horror and disgust some BASTARD had ripped off my credit card totally, down to the last euro…..:evil:
It ruined my breakaway as i was planning on spoling myself & co with it
Luckily hubby had cash so we managed fine but am totally disgusted bank (TSB) never contacted me abt the use, the scumbags tallyed up a good 1500 that i know of at the moment. RAGING

The bank are doing a Fraud investigation, but it can take up to 28 days apparently, aleast to sort it out ??
So annoyed over it though, I always check for secure sites etc.
Bank thinks it was something to do with the car hire co.
i booked through (ecomonycarhire.com) beware !!

Millie – happened Himself on our hols. He reported it to BOI just refunded the charges to the card.
Where was your card used, was it used to make purchases or were the charges to a made-up name – i.e. the fraudsters were paying themselves with it? And was it in Ireland?
Millie it happened to me last month – they only took E300ish but still! I only noticed coz I was checking my balance online! I’ve been refunded it plus any interest accrued now. So sorry for you though on your break- no CC at all is a nightmare!
It was used in Dell, le coq sportif, & somewhere in rome apparently. Of all times for it to happen aswell like.
Thats partially why the bank are linking to the care hire crowd because they knew when id be travelling and had free run before it was copped (by myself not the bank) its soo annoying though

Millie that is awful. You poor thing. Happened to my bro…he was in College in Limerick and someone was very carefuly only taking out a little bit at a time. Like 20euro, 50 euro. He noticed it one day when they took out 50 and he had nothing left! had to ring the bank and say I am in Limerick…how could I have used my Laser on Grafton street?!
On a plus note though I just found out that I have the day off tomorrow! Unbelievable! Imagine…no one tols me I found out by accident. Me the big eijit turning up for work to an empty office!
