What did you all get up to this weekend? It was so windy yesterday as I walked into town to do a bit o’ shopping that my poor gruaig was blown all over the place, and I ended up with a fright-wig Worzel Gummidge would be proud of.
Not such a good look, eh?

Lana – I’m the exact same about GOK I only like to see the end as he does a great job but I stopped watching the prog in full ages ago. Actually I’ like that about lots of programmes like GOK and 10 yrs younger – only watch the last 5 mins.

Em I have being stockpiling books all year and am only getting to read them now. I really need to stop reading this site. Today I bought the Urban Decay eyelid primer And The Wella Luminous Booster. Now all I have to do is work out how to use it, Anyone know ????
Kirstie, Are you there??? Just looked at my Luminous Booster and it says on the bottle ‘tailor-made for Blondes’. I’m not a blonde naturally or other wise. I have dark brown/black hair. Would it really make a difference??? Would I be better to return it
Girls, anyone use the Tresemme brunette shampoo and conditioner? I think that it really is enhancing my natural hair colour. I’m naturally brown but My natural blondie bits are looking blonder and my sis told me yesterday that my hair colour is lovely…..

My Wicked Wicked Ways (Errol Flynn’s autobiography), A Quiet belief in Angels, Night Train to Lison, Wittgenstein’s Poker, The Crow Road and others whose names escape me now.
Just heard Jose Mourinho might be the new manager for Inter Milan, so the super stylish special one might be back in one of the fashion capitals of Europe, how appropriate.

Newbie here…just saw those comments about breakouts from PCOS, at the grand old age of 30 acne appeared on my chin as well as a very attractive ‘tash where previously I was clear skinned and hair free! Turned out to be PCOS! Best thing every for it has got to have been taking Starflower Oil Vitamin E every day…really helped clear it up….
PS Anyone planning on seeing SATC movie on Wednesday?
Just apply the eyelid primer before eyeshadow and note the diff!!! Was looking on makeupalley and urban decay posted a reply to someone complaining about the design of the product and said they’re working on a new one. Most of the stuff gets stuck in the tube so if you cut it in half and put it into a new container you can get the use out of it. Good to see they’re taking on customer feedback!

hey carrie b! I got tickets to the screening on the beaut comp from last week, well excited, although I’m not sure if that’s because of the film or the chance to get dressed up and the promise of vodka cocktails!
Yep the legitimate excuse to drink cocktails on a wednesday is great! Cosmo’s at 6.30 then a bus to the cinema and then back for more cosmo’s and a best dressed competition!

Starflower oil is great, it helps balance out the hormones, epecially if you have PCOS. Also taking a soya supplement can help too…
Hey girls – im looking for a red eyeshadow but can’t find it anywhere!!! looked @ every brand i can think of with no joy! im sure im not going crazy! is there any brand out there that does red eyeshadow?

I think ruby and millie might do a red eyeshadow, maura, they used to a few years back anyway.
I use to use Tresemme all the time and found it great tbh – tis a good budget shampoo.
Maura – never saw red eyeshawdow anywhere.
I intend to go SATC but – love it alright but more for the fashion. I watch the L word an odd time – I really want to drown them all afterward such a crowd of drama and meme queens – but the fashion can be very good.
Kitty is Brothers and sisters is another one that coems to mind.

Maura, I was trying out some very cool red eyeshadows at the Gosh makeup stand in Debenhams the other day. My fave was watermelon.Have a look at their stuff, they have the most amazing range of colours to choose from.
I think Dianne Brill might do a red eyeshadow too??

Sophie Ellis Baxter has red eyeshawdow on a show last years (if it wasn’t eye shawdow it was soemthing like a liquid liner) anyway it looked fab.

Why not just try a really red blush? I’ve worn my Mac blusher as eyeshadow a few times and, despite the fact taht I’ve decided red is not my (eye) colour, it came out really well!
Mac do a shade that’s amost red called passionate
