In case you hadn’t guessed it, I’m kinda loving all things Smashbox at the minute.
The new Decadence collection, with its smoky metalics, gold drenched glimmer and sumptous lipsticks is so good you’ll find yourself looking for any excuse to glam it up.
A vital componant of the look is the gel eyeliner.
Now if you’ve been tempted by liqiud eyeliner, but have been too scared to take the plunge, lest you end up looking like Amy Winehouse, here’s your solution. Gel liner. Easy peasy to apply and so sophisticated.
Take one tiny liner brush, dip it in the little pot of dark, metallic gel liner and apply above your upper lashes. No need to have the steady hand required to get the single sweep needed by the liquid liners. You could be going through the DTs and still get this right!

Oh I am all excited about this product. I love smashbox, do you know how much this costs.
I have this in dark brown and I use it with the Smashbox archliner brush, I LOVE IT…. My new staple

I have the bobbie brown one which is a kind of gel/creme. I don’t have an archliner brush but have two other liner brushes which are fine. Its been used twice as I not a great one for the liner.
I put all my brushes into a glass the other night and counted 17 brushes of them – most of them never used.
beautfan I am the same with the brushes. I have so many that I never use. Not sure why I bought them to start with. Always have big intentions of using eyeliner but usually end up with it half way down my cheek a few minutes later so I just give up! I did get some green Tesco liquid eyeliner last week and it seemed to be OK the times I was messing around with it but I need a night out to test it!
I have 2 rimmel liquid liners which must be 2 years at this stage so I suppose I’ll have to bin them.
I wore the black one twice.
Anything I’ve got from Tesco has been good – makes going there worthwhile.
Am loving Smashbox as well – just got some of their goodies on ebay – a pallette with all the different eyeliner shades, and also some of the primer – can’t remember the name, but the one everyone raves about. Good value too, I’d say about 20% less then the shops.
beautfan – yes I don’t like to shop in Tesco too often, but the Barbara Daly stuff is really good quality. Also love their Vitamin E cleansing wipes.
Smashbox ebay goodies arrived just now, Yay! Look good, the little palette is so cute – got lovely selection of colour eyeliners to try. Will be Miss Multicolour for a few days no doubt.
they have a shiseido on of these complete with brush on strawberry.
Have never used a gel liner before but i am intrigued!
I love the new High Definition foundation. It’s so light you hardly know you are wearing it.
I got a Smashbox eyeliner pallette a few months ago. Lovely colours, but I found that the eyeliner simply did not last past a couple of hours. Is it just me? If there any budgeproof eyeliner out there? My MAC gel eyeliner is only a little better.
