Oh, the Names They Call ‘em – Hairdressers

It seems there’s nothing quite like the prospect of naming a hairdressing salon to bring out the punner in a person. I was in London at the weekend and we drove past one called Hairport – quite clever really, as we were pretty near Heathrow.

That’s by no means the worst – I’ve seen Hair Apparent, Curl up and Dye, The Hair After, Fringe Benefits and Hair we Go. But I think the one in the pic takes the prize – British Hairways.

Genius.

    i love it! there’s also a ‘Hairport’ in Navan which is quite hilarious when said in a strong Naaaavan accent. ;)

    there are also many, many named ‘A Cut Above’ in the small towns of our fair isle…

    I know it’s not a hairdresser, but I saw a porsche in Ranelagh on Saturday and the numberplate was “TOSSER”….

    what was they thinkin!!!
