It seems there’s nothing quite like the prospect of naming a hairdressing salon to bring out the punner in a person. I was in London at the weekend and we drove past one called Hairport – quite clever really, as we were pretty near Heathrow.
That’s by no means the worst – I’ve seen Hair Apparent, Curl up and Dye, The Hair After, Fringe Benefits and Hair we Go. But I think the one in the pic takes the prize – British Hairways.
Genius.

i love it! there’s also a ‘Hairport’ in Navan which is quite hilarious when said in a strong Naaaavan accent.
there are also many, many named ‘A Cut Above’ in the small towns of our fair isle…

Theres one in Athy called “Scissor Sisters” he he.
There used to be one near Camden St/Kevin st called Edward Scissorhands or something? Am I imagining that?!!

I saw one once called “Short and Curlies”
I know it’s not a hairdresser, but I saw a porsche in Ranelagh on Saturday and the numberplate was “TOSSER”….
Remember seeing one called “Hair To-day” – presume it was still there the next day!
