Re-gorgeousised, Dior has reformulated its Addict glosses and they’ll launch on May 24th in a new incarnation: Ultra Gloss will be a really scary price of €26 per wand – there’s some justification in that you get 6.3ml in each – but the shade and finish choices may convince some recessionistas to splurge. Or you could wait for an airport run?
These are non-sticky, super-shiny, packed with colour and effects and will come in three varieties of six shades – glow (nude with light sparkles), pearl (brighter colours with iridescence) and flash (bright! Sparkly!). Wanna see what’s what in each set, and a swatch of one of the flash glosses? Check after the cut.

These are the pearl shades, and they come in twin set pink, pink trench, cashmere pink, apricot cloche, coral fantasy and sari pink.

Glow shades are lace beige, satin peach, pink flirt, negligee pink, intimate bronze and michievious rosewood. These’ll be a great bridal pick, I think.

Flash! These come in empire pink, extravagant grendaine, outrageous fuchsia, orange bolero, little red dress and black-tie plum. I’ve got outrageous fuschia and am liking it layered over a complimentary lip tint a lot – and my hair doesn’t stick to it, thank the Christ up in heaven almighty.

Hmmm, is it only me or did Dior was inspired from yesterday’s First Makeup post??? This pink/peach eyeshadow combo is something you could easily do with Constance Carroll
Yum Yum! Love Dior lip glosses and lipsticks
They look lovely – really like the addict glosses. Saw them the other day in the Dior magazine I get. They also had a free sample of the new serum – One Essential skin booster ( i think) and I love it. Tried it last night and I can see the difference this morning my skin is soft and hydrated.I would look into buying it but I’m sure the price tag will give me heart palpitations
The colour range is massive. Have they changed the consistency of these as i found the one i got a bit on the stickey side. The shimmer is lovely for a night out, amazing pigmentation. It is costly but well worth the price as they last for ages.
I love the look of that Fuschia, I bought a similar colour in Boots at the weekend with my No7 vouchers and was very disappointed with it. It was in the Liplicious range for No7 and looked great when I swatched but about ten mins after you wear it just gathers in one area on your lips. Very disappointing, the swatch was lovely. So I might add the Dior fuschia to my wishlist.
I’m defo getting one. I’ll put it over my Tom Ford lipstick. I’ll have the most expensive mouth in Dublin having spent 3k on traintracks.
Are the colours not a bit same-y?
Ceci:- Have a look at the BarryM stand, they are doing a lovely glossy bright pink. Only thing is it actually tastes like bubble gum, but it lasts pretty well.
Sadhbh:- How are you getting on with the Tom Ford lipstick. Everytime i am in BT’s i am just drawn to them.
I used to have one of their glosses, which was nice and non sticky (a big plus!).
I know it’s Dior an’ all, but 26 yoyos is un peu steep for lippy.
