Poor Joe Duffy. Not normally known for his beauty rituals, he was suddenly catapulted into the extreme world of male waxing with the takeoff of Justin Timberlake’s Sexy Back, by the Strawberry Alarm clock crew on FM104.
It’s just sooooooo funny! And this morning on the way into work I heard it on Gerry Ryan – and Gerry hinted that the song may be released as a single. I hope it is.
Here’s the first verse of Sexy Back sung by
JOE & SHEILA (a frequent caller to Liveline)
I’m gonna shave me back (YEAH)
And then I’m gonna wax me sack and crack (YEAH)
I will be smoother than yer man 2pac (YEAH)
‘Cept I’m not dead and I am not black (YEAH)
Check them out on their Bebo site!

The song is excellent! I heard the same rumour that they are gonna try and release it as a single, but they need to get the permission of the oul Trouser Snake
Yeah you’re right GM! If you text FM104 you can add another vote to their online petition – this will then be used to persuade JT (hopefully!)to allow the song to be released proper like. When I hear the number again on FM104 I’ll post it here.
is the song on youtube.com ?
I don’t know, but I’d say it’s unlikely because it’s just audio, as opposed to audio and video.
Well god knows it SHOULD be on video!! Imagine! I emailed FM104 this morning and asked them how were the plans to release the single coming along – so when I hear back I’ll let everyone know.
