It’s Friday! Before you get down and boogie, get down and blather!
Can I be the first to say WAAAAAAAAHHHHAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY
Hello Friday, boy am I glad to see you
I dont usually blather but this morning felt I had to. I was really disappointed to see some of the nasty comments about Dublin housewives on Facebook last night by the beaut community. I am no Housewives fan but I do think its such double standards to slate Internet trolls in a post one week and the next become Internet trolls the next?! Whether or not you have any interest in buying their make up there is no need to personally attack them. Cannot stand hypocrites! Rant over! Would love to hear if anyone agrees?
Already looking forward to going back to bed :/ So tired.
So excited, I got the green light for the trip to Dublin next March!! So so happy.
@Breige, here’s a cup of tea and some biscuits to wake you up.
@Helz: I don’t follow beaut.ie on FB so obviously haven’t seen the comments you’re refering to. But from what I see there are over 14000 followers on FB, which is far greater than the number of people who comment on the website, so it may explain the difference in behaviour?
I doubt the people who responded to the post on trolls were the ones putting up the nasty comments (correct me if I’m wrong, as i said i don’t follow beaut.ie on FB),so it’s a bit unfair to accuse them (or Aisling and the other running the website) of double standards, don’t you think?
And I don’t think you can hold beaut.ie responsible for the behaviour of its followers. Trolls are a disgrace, but the fact that some of the beaut.ie FB followers might behave like trolls does not mean beaut.ie agrees with them.
Just my two cents.
Have a nice day!
Morning all, is the bar open yet? I could do with a triple espresso STAT!! Woohoo tis Friday, it’ll be a quiet weekend in this house, might bring the small man to the park, go to the inlaws for Sunday dinner. Anyone up to anything exciting for the weekend??
The Frog, congrats on the work trip. They’re usually good craic, I went to Copenhagen & Alicante in my old job. Enjoy your trip, hope you get to hang around for a few days and enjoy the Paddies Day festivities.
Putting on my barrista apron : Here’s your espresso, Evie, with a chocolate. We also have a nice selection of pastries for breakfast.
Since Bobby Pins and LynnieDoll are nowhere to be seen, I’ll take care of the bar as well. Who’s for a drink?
Quick hair question…which I’m sure has been covered by numerous posts already, but to save me going through them all…
I have VERY fine hair which is in need of some serious love. I plan to tackle it this weekend. I can’t afford to go to the hairdresser for treatment until next month so this is a DIY job. I’ve heard loads about hair oil and would love to try one but will it suit my thin hair? Can anyone recommend one that they have used before? Or anything else to bring some happiness to my head
Thefrog I’d love a Afogato (sp?) the one with ice cream and espresso yumyum. Do you do them?
Buttons, I have quiet fine hair but alot of it so people mistakenly think I have thick hair. I used Morroccan Oil and loved it. I believe there is a light version of it too which might be more suited to you if you’re nervous.
The Frog, cheers hun, I’ll have a big gooey pastry too please.
@Buttons, of course I do affogati. With a shot of liqueur or a plain one?
