Oh look. We’ll have to talk about
Kevin the elephant in the powder room, before we go any further, won’t we?
Eh. Ok then Catrice. Might be another case of lost in translation but not the most immediately appealing name for a collection I’ve ever heard. However – check that packaging! Totally reminds me of the palette casings from Mac’s Passions of Red Christmas collection from 2008 or the previous year’s Royal Assets kits, except far, far cheaper. And we really like, far, far cheaper, don’t we?
So, there are two Smokey Eyes palettes in the Revoltaire collection (sorry, can’t help but titter each time I type it) and they’re a measly €4.99 each. Four Ninety Nine! It’s like they’re for free! Three shadows and one cake eyeliner plus brush and a mirror in the lid are what you get for your weeny outlay. Above is C01 Toxic Combination and the top pic shows C02 Explosive Combination.
Powder Blush, €4.99, is a gradient blusher and comes in one shade, C01 Colour Bomb.
There are four Velvet Matt Lip Colours, €4.49, perfect for fans of full-on opaque pouts. Shades are C01 Colour Bomb, C03 Bloody Red and C02 Nude Alarm.
And to ensure a perfect application, Revoltaire will include a retractable lip brush for €3.49.
Of course, no Catrice collection would be complete without a complement of nail colours: this one features Ultimate Nail Lacquer, €2.79, in C03 Colour Bomb, C05 Mission Lilac, C02 Attracting Camouflage, C04 Colour of Honor and C01 Innocent Toxin.
