Here’s to a happy and productive Tuesday.

Oh and if you’re having pancakes, enjoy them!

    Morning ladies!

    Is today pancake tuesday? Awww!

I fear my Arctic adventure at the weekend has taken its toll. I am cream crackered and my throat and chest feel like I smoked a LOT of cigarettes. Ah well! Twas worth it.

    Happy tuesday everyone.

  • Rosmaria says:

Mmm traditionalist me – butter, sugar and lemon juice

  • Gossipgal-I was gluten free last year too, *whispers*, I’m just not that big of a pancake fan to begin with!

Mandy (the Nordic one)- I’d say it was definitely worth it alright, hope you feel better soon though!

  • xgirl says:

Morning everyone! Can’t wait for pancakes later :)

Cornflakegirl, I think it was the Sunday Times Style supplement at the weekend that recommended making pancakes with gram flour (from chickpeas) to jump on the oh-so-now gluten-free bandwagon (at least I hope I got that right). I wasn’t convinced, but might be worth experimenting if you can get some?

Mmm Pancake Tuesday! Am I the only one who isn’t a massive fan of the things..I’d have one or two, but much prefer savoury to sweet! Havinf said that, I plan on one (scatch that, a FEW) savoury and maybe one buttons with icecream…yummy!

  • Morning all, dying for pancakes later, that’s dinner sorted :) Feeling nearly normal today after two weeks of feeling sick, so I see the light at the end of the tunnel. And it’s a lovely Springy day out there so am in great form, happy Tuesday all!

  • xgirl-oh that sounds intetesting, might give that whirl actually.

Julie-I’m not a huge fan either, two is normally plenty for me. I do like sweet ones though!

Karen- Good to hear you’re on the mend.

haha – every year pancake day comes around, I get really excited, thinking that they’re going to be amazing and wonderful – and I end up thinking meh!

  • MsSitting says:

I did the dog on pancakes over the weekend.

Vegan pancakes – instead of egg use banana or apple. I did both.
Toppings: Toasted peacans with warmed maple syrup.

Pesarattu (Moong Dal(Mung Beans) Pancakes) (something like http://www.indianfoodforever.com/contribution/pesarattu.html)

I’ll start Lent a day early so.

Yippee, Pancake Tuesday! I’ll be having my usual raspberry jam on mine, yum. Although just the one or two, was up last week at WW so hoping to do well tomorrow.
Any recommendations for chilblains by anyone? My poor fingers are destroyed and are very painful. I’m lashing on the handcream which is helping a bit, but not enough.

  • Hazie says:

    Happy Pancake Tuesday!
I managed to shake off the cold, so now I am looking forward to my wisdom tooth (teeth) removal in Santry tomorrow.
Hope I don’t lose all my wisdom :(

    YAY for pancakes!!!

Need a hand ladies, am heading to the Olympics with my Mammy in August for two days, thought we had accomodation sorted but I think it has fallen through, does anyone have any suggestions for places to stay?!?!

  • Baglady says:

Happy Shrove Tuesday, my second favourite day of the year.

Hazie – I had mine out three years ago, it was sore for awhile, the consultant said to take a week off sick, it looked like I’d a golf ball on each side of my face but it was a relief to get them out after constant infections.

  • Can’t wait for pancakes now, nom nom, butter and sugar will do us but might be persuaded to have a bit of Nutella.. :)
