Avoid Madonna Claw With L’Occitane Immortelle Brightening Hand Care With SPF15

l'occitane immortelle handcream

It’s kind of a no-brainer really, isn’t it? Add a lick of SPF to handcream – the paws are a pretty neglected and hard-used part of the body – and it’ll work even harder to protect hands from the elements. We shield our faces as a matter of course these days and they’re exposed to UV rays just as much as our hands, but hardly any handcreams bother to add sun protection factors. And I can count on no fingers the amount of times I’ve slathered on a separate SPF on my lamhs. How about you?

But this one does: L’Occitane Immortelle Brightening Hand Care is €29.95 (yes, ouch) and has an included SPF of 15. Hurrah!

It’s light, has a dry-feeling texture that’s rapidly and easily absorbed, non-sticky and has the same yum scent and ingredients as the rest of the brand’s anti-ageing Immortelle range. I wouldn’t say that this is an intensely hydrating or a quick-repair product, but it’s possibly one of the only handcreams I’ve ever come across which I can use daily, apply and then instantly resume typing without keyboard-clog. And you know – that’s quite important. Helps offset the ticket charge, so: nice one L’Occitane.
