‘Style on Saturdays (S.O.S)’ is a new weekly event at Arnotts this April, taking place each week across fashion, beauty and home. Naturally enough it’s the beauty bits that pique our interest the most and previous weeks gave seen makeup artists Ken Boylan and Christine Lucignano do beauty looks in front of an audience and dish tips and tricks.
And then Arnotts asked me would I like to host one. I gulped a bit. I can make up my own face – but someone elses? I wasn’t too sure about that now, but thankfully they wanted something different from a real-gal perspective so we came up with a new angle. Head into the Arnotts beauty hall tomorrow where I’ll be present and correct for half hour-ish beauty master classes taking place on the hour from 1pm to 4pm.
I’ll be taking you through five new season trends (there may be a couple of amusing ones thrown in for good measure), we’ll take a gander at the ten products you need to own for summer 2011 and I’m gonna get down and dirty with the whole new world of water-based foundations too. And you never know – we might even sneak a peek into my makeup bag while we’re at it. There’ll be ample time to ask me questions and best of all, it’s all free. Four sessions will take place at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm so you’ve loads of chances to come and have a goo.
