Brazilian Blowout Zero: Could the Brazilian Blowout be on the Way Back to Ireland?

It got its chemical-packed hair-straightenin' ass banned by the Irish Medicines Board last year off the back of a formaldehyde scare, but now it looks as though Brazilian Blowout could be en route back to our green and (currently un)pleasant land.

Stylist reports that the company has created a new formaldehyde-free formula. Brazilian Blowout Zero contains no methylene glycol, which was the ingredient in its previous products which converted to formaldehyde gas when heated, and which sparked the controversy.  The updated Zero incarnation uses a new active, and it's one that skincare swots will be familiar with: glycolic acid.

They say there's no difference in performance at all and it's 100% safe for you and for salon stylists.  Whaddya reckon? Has Brazilian Blowout blotted its copybook entirely and you'd never trust it again, or are you so gagging for a bit of frizz easing that you'll be pitching a sit-in outside the Irish Medicines Board to demand they allow it into salons ASAP?
