And my latest beauty crush has to be… eyebrow makeup.
Normally when I have a Beauty Crush it’s on skincare – but I have increasingly become addicted to Brow Kits.
Transforming the slugs above my eyes into something quite nice really in mere seconds: now I wonder how on earth I ever thought my makeup was done without one.
It all started with Estee Lauder, developed with Benefit’s Browzings and became a fully fledged passion with Clarins brow kit.
And then Kirstie and I went to a Bobbi Brown makeover thingy yesterday* where I had a go of the new Bobbi Brown Brow pencil (€22; five shades). Now when I write that it doesn’t sound particularly exciting – but it is! It’s a pencil that has the texture of a shadow so when you put it on you don’t get the annoying pencil strokes that you’d get from a normal pencil. And because it’s a pencil it’s easy to apply exactly where you need it. Bobbi says: “the beauty of the pencil is that you can precisely place the arch which will instantly lift the brows”.
See the word ‘instant’? Now that’s what I like.
