A cautionary tale, beaut.ies, I had an unfortunate and untimely spot on my chil before I went to bed last night and in time-honoured fashion covered it in toothpaste. Colgate Whitening Toothpaste to be precise.
When I got up this morning not only had the spot not lessened any, but the skin around the spot had what I can only describe as melted. A case of toothpaste burn if you will. Am now sporting some lovely soothing Sudocrem to make it better. Beware of toothpaste on spots!!

I came home yesterday to a package of Urban Decay goodies in the porch – I had no idea that I had won! My daughters are delighted! One has taken the glitter eyeliner and the other the shimmer body lotion – I’m hanging onto the eyeshadow by my finger nails! Thanks a million girls.

Well if it’s any consolation after my disastrous testing of a new face primer last week now that I’m “healing” I have flaky skin all over my nose and chin, looked particularly delicious with foundation on over it today!!!!

    I’m scarred, mentally and physically.

Can any of you please help me with a product search?
I’m attempting to track down stockists of St Moriz tan in Dublin?
I have read a lot of super positive review on UK beauty blogs, it’s apparently identical to St Tropez without the price tag…. I’m on a mission. They say TK Maxx stock in the UK but i’ve tried a couple here to no avail.
    Many thanks, dq

Hi Dancingqueen – I;m not sure if it’s available here, I haven’t seen it and no one has contacted us from the brand which is usually an indicator. Someone else might have more info for you though – I’d ask tomorrow on the blog when more gals will be on chatting.

Thanks Kirstie – will do that!

    hi ladies,
I am craving some new products. I tried to buy Estee lauder’s bronze goddess bronzer with the blusher but alas roches were all out!

Anyone buy any nice new bits?

  • misslolz says:

Dancingqueen – You can buy it from amazon.co.uk for £4.99 and you can also buy it from ebay. The tk maxx in Limerick doesn’t have it either and I have tried other shops as well but with no luck. HTH
