Maybelline have always done a good line in decently-priced nail enamel, and now there's a shiny new addition to the stable to take care of your talons as well as prettify them. Their Salon Manicure nail care range features a whole rake of products that promise to help sort out weak and damaged nails. There are two base coats to treat nails while protecting them from nail colour and prolonging your mani: an Age Treatment version to help fill ridges and whiten nails and an Anti-Breakage Base to deal with brittle, fragile nails. There's also a Hydra Cuticle Lotion, enriched with aloe vera to help moisturise and soften cuticles which can then be gently pushed back with the included applicator, a Calcium Strengthener to reinforce soft, fragile nails, a Protecting Top Coat (the clue is in the name, ha?) and an Ultra Strong 3-in-1 treatment which is a strengthener, base coat and topcoat in one.
And is if that little lot wasn't enough - there's also an Ultra Strong French polish to add subtle, glossy colour while helping to harden weak nails.
