Make Up For Ever Cork

Getting gorgeous options for the gals of the real capital have just increased: pro brand Make Up For Ever have just opened a shop on Winthrop Street, and by the sounds of things (and look of that picture), it’s well worth a gander.

In addition to the Make Up For Ever brand, you can also get your hands on Face2, Annie Cribbins’ line, as well as self-tanning products from Vani-T. Nails are well provided for with one of my favourite ranges, Leighton Denny.

That’s not the half of it though – the store also offers a wide range of pro services, like make-overs, make up lessons, eyebrow shaping and eyelash application in three private makeup areas. In February, they’ll launch the Make Up For Ever Academy which will offer courses like four week evening courses (Beginners to Intermediate level €795), a three day full Time Introduction to Make Up Artistry  (Introductory Course €595) and a 1 Day Make Up Course (Perfect Day & Night Make Up €199)

Definitely one to check out next time I’m down south, I think!

Id love to go on thier course if i had the moola! They are pretty pricey, i wonder is any redeamable against any products?

I have to say it isnt a brand ive used a lot. Ive one eyeshadow and a sample of thier face & body foundation, which is raved about, but crap coverage for me.

Looove Make Up Forever – their brushes are truly fantastic, I have a powder one for about three years now and one you wash it every couple of months its like brand new. I got a present of an eye makeup lesson with them about two years ago and it was brill – they showed me how to do somkey eye from beginning to end. As far as I know they are Irish (correct me if i’m wrong) so we should all support them in these times.

Hi Girls. I did the Make Up Forever evening course about 5 years ago and it was fantastic. Cost about £500 at the time. I had to buy a number of brushes at the time which cost £120 (I think) and they are fantastic quality brushes. I still have them and they are in perfect nick and not one hair has fallen out of them. The course was really good and since then all my friends are always asking me to do their make-up for them!!!

i went into makeup forever in dublin and it doesn’t do leighton denny anymore. not sure if it is the same in cork.
the only thing i don’t like about makeup forever is that they don’t display the prices of anything! i love their makeup esp their eyeshadows.
