Inglot Freedom Palette Eyeshadow Duo: Purpletastic

The last time we wrote about Inglot was really just an opportunity for us to give you a heads up on the new store opening in Liffey Valley this month. The fact that the comments soon descended into a rating of the various eating establishments in the vicinity did not mean that we were taking our jobs as cosmetic testers any less seriously.

And so this weekend I have been mostly wearing an Inglot Freedom Palette eyeshadow duo in pink and purple - colours that I normally wear. In fact I have MAC and Estee Lauder purples in the same exact shades so I was well placed to compare.

Well first off the Inglot shades are incredibly bright. Which is good because it means there is a lot of pigment in the shadow (as opposed to the talc which is normally used to bulk up inexpensive brands). Although I wasn't crazy about the packaging it does have a great Bobbi Brown-esque utlitarian function. Choose your colours and a magnetised custom palette can be made up for you for €12 for a duo (down from €17 as an opening offer). Freedom Palettes also come in 4, 5 and 10 pan options, for €16 (normally €25), €20 (normally €28) and €36 (normally €50).

It's the prices that are sure to suck a lot of us in - and the range of colours is fantastic.  I'm dying to try some of the bright blues and greens.

And another Very Good point - no creasing.  My eyes will normally crease up most eyeshadow, but these stayed sitting pretty until I was ready to take them off.

Find Inglot in Liffey Valley (just inside the main entrance).
