I was looking at the Tour America website the other day and the deals they have on at the mo are fantastic.

I love Woodbury Common – worth flying to NY for that alone.

This day four weeks I’ll be there…yay! CANNOT wait!!

Jenni – you lucky thing…hope you have a fab time. I was talking with sister yesterday – she’s going at end of October (with Tour America funnily enough) – and we were both saying how much we loved the bus ride out to Woodbury…its such a contrast to Manhattan and you feel like you are seeing the real America.

I’d love to go again…son was only 3 when we were last there and he doesn’t really remember it.

Glamazon – You’re so right, the drive to Woodbury is a real countryside drive. Last time I was there was December ’07 and it was snowing on our way out, which was so picturesque, but it took us ages to get back in that evening. We didn’t mind though, as we were so happy with the bargains we’d picked up!

Anyone ever been to the other outlet place, Jersey Gardens?

  • Glamazon says:

Jenni :) yes, I think the bus is full of tired but happy campers on the way home! We went in December as well and I was dying for snow – it must have looked amazing – but it was freakily warm-ish (for NY anyway). We spent Christmas there and spent Christmas Eve in Toys R Us in Time Square with husband distracting son with the huge T Rex whilst I helped Santa with his pressies ;) You will get to see all the Hallow’eeney stuff…ah I’d love to go to the US for Hallow’een.

Oh Glamazon you are making me excited! I am going for Christmas this year. I have no kids but I may have to hang out there on Christmas Eve regardless!!

  • Glamazon says:

PP :) another lucky girl! Ah you’ll have a fab time…skating at the Rockerfella Centre…ride around Central Park all wrapped up on a cold afternoon (don’t accept a blanket from the carriage driver…they obviously use them as toilet roll for the horses too). Christmassy shopping in Saks and Bloomies. I am making myself jealous now.

  • Jenni says:

Glamazon – never even thought of Hallow’een, oooh that should be cool! Lots of spooks and ghools about the place!

PP – are you taking in a show when you go?

  • Hermione says:

Jenni – I thought of you straight away when I read this ;)
