This recent cold snap, festive and all as it has been, isn’t a very enjoyable experience. While I’ve been wrapping myself up in warm winter layers, hats, scarves and gloves, I’ve been using Nuxe Rêve de Miel honey lip balm to protect my lips from the cold. Nuxe is a French skincare line based on effective, high quality plant ingredients. I’ve been using the Rêve de Miel lip balm for almost 10 years now, so I think I can safely say it’s a wonder-product for me!
Free from artificial fragrances, preservatives and petroleum-based ingredients, Rêve de Miel uses Acacia honey and shea butter to protect and nourish lips. I use this on a daily basis anyway, but it really comes into its own when my lips are chapped or irritated – it always clears up any dryness and heals them really quickly.
The honey fragrance is complimented by the addition of grapefruit essential oil, so this smells good enough to eat. Priced at around €12, Rêve de Miel lip balm is available from Nuxe counters in Clerys and House of Fraser and at Boots Liffey Valley.
