Well, peak Bridezilla wedding season has descended upon us once again, in a hail of Swarovski crystals and confetti/rice/flower petals/bubbles. I've no weddings to attend myself this year, but that doesn't mean there's any getting away from the SS09 maelstrom.
Living TV is wall-to-wall Four Weddings, and lunchtimes in the office are filled with dark mutterings about people who get hitched mid-week in the back arse of Ballydehob (eats up two days annual leave), heated debates about what (or, more usually, how much) to give as a gift, and discussions about wedding cakes and fillings and tiers and icing and trimmings (one of the girls makes them in her spare time... and sometimes brings in tasters, so that chat's a-ok.)
We've talked before about wedding make-up and I think everyone is fairly well in agreement on the face front. The general consensus is that less is more, and that you want to look like yourself - just the most pretty, radiant, gorgeous, absolutely best version of yourself you can possibly manage.
What about your nails, though? I saw photos recently of a bride who made the gutsy decision to wear black nail varnish, and it actually looked amazing.

The arguments against wearing colour on your nails for your big day are many, and include my favourite: it'll mean that your photos won't age well.
Mmm. Because it hasn't been hideous frocks and hairdos that have caused most wedding snaps of the '80s and '90s to look like their age...
What do you guys think?
