Jaysis, we're gone Arnotts mad, I tell you, but I was in the Jervis store - or the Arnotts Project, as it's called - yesterday and I couldn't get over the transformation. It's the hipper younger sister to the one up the street, and if you've been in and out over the past few months (me: many visits to Paperchase) you'll have noticed there was a lot of floor space waiting to be filled, and the place looked a little empty.
Well ladies, it doesn't now. The ground floor in particular was a bit bereft but it's now the prettiest beauty hall I've been in in a while, and it's packed full of brand new and sparkling stuff. Most notable from a Beaut.ie point of new-view is the Bloom stand, an Arnotts exclusive. This is a sweet, quirky Australian range heavy on minerals and pretty, wearable shades. It's a little bit Stila, a little bit Benefit, and a lot cute. More about that soon!
There are more firsts and exclusives in here too: Arnotts have the first Bourjois counter in the country and it's gorgeous, all pink, curvy and mirrored, with a space down one end to do makeup. They've also bagged a Garnier installation, so instead of skincare products being displayed on shelves like they are in supermarkets, they're presented more like colour cosmetics, and it's very effective. Revlon, Smashbox, IsaDora, Urban Decay and The Balm all feature too, and they're joined by posher spends like Chanel, Lancome, Elizabeth Arden and Clinique.

There's also a perfumery, with products displayed on apothecary-style stands and all in all, it's a nice auld place to drop a few quid. I imagine I will be doing same, frequently. Bravo, Arnotts!
