When Zara does a sale, it does a damn good sale
It started innocently. I went to the Zara website to casually browse. Research, for this very site, you know. The first words to greet me were 'SALE' - and that was that.
I had my eye on a pair of pink stilettos that I want to wear with a black and white polka dot dress I got in the & Other Stories sale. (It's an addiction. I need help) I needed air, so instead of buying them for €20 online, I thought I'd just, like, pop into the store on Henry Street for a quick second. I went in for a pair of shoes and came out with three bags of clothes. The shoes were gone.
The whole ground floor is exclusively sale stock. (Presumably, after today when half of Dublin gets in on the bargains, they'll replace some of the rails with shiny new things.) For now, it's sales, sales and more sales - and the reductions are alarmingly huge. I bought a pair of jeans, a jumper and a shirt dress, all for €12.99. Prices are as low as €3 for t-shirts. It's insane - and, truthfully, unnecessary - and if you're any way a shopaholic, I wouldn't go near the place because, despite the deals, a trip to Zara this week will almost certainly bankrupt you.
If you're able to control yourself, have a look; you will find a gem.
