Now, Vans have collaborated with British fashion house Vivienne Westwood and we are so excited. They have come together to create a footwear capsule collection like no other - celebrating fearless individualism and liberation.

As a nod to each brand’s birthplace, the Sk8-Hi features embossed markings of a handwritten letter sent from Southern California to Vivienne Westwood’s flagship boutique at 44 Conduit St., London.

The Sk8-Hi has a gorgeous natural vegetable dye tan leather as well as a printed postage stamp with the collaboration launch date and a leather-bound outsole.
Uniting the history of both brands, the Checkerboard Slip-On features Vans’ Checkerboard pattern layered with the Vivienne Westwood DESTROY graphic – brand signatures that both debuted in 1977. We have never needed a pair of shoes so much.
