There is an undeniable chill in the air, and that chill requires a wool coat. More specifically, a yellow wool coat.
Today I wore black tights for the first time since April. I take a break from them for the so-called 'warm' months, May - August. I held back 'till now to entrap my legs in opaque in the hope that an Indian summer may be on the cards, but alas, it looks like this year that ain't to be. I wore my tights with a leather mini skirt and a grey light jumper and black boots. So very rain cloud of me.
Wearing dark colours is an autumn disease. I'm not the only one who gravitates towards the dark side this time of year - it could be a reflection of one's mood. The cure is bright overwear: jackets, cardigans and coats, of course. Red is wonderful, as we know, and this-time-of-year appropriate. But I saw this bright yellow coat in Mango that will go so well over all my grey and black and navy clothes and I need it this instant. It's affordable, too!
Mango €79.95
