The Kenzo x H&M collection hits stores tomorrow. While it hasn't attracted the same frenzy of last year's collaboration with Balmain, there's still a fair bit of hype around it.
Rightly so; these pieces are investments. In general, the collection is not trendy. That's a good thing! Interesting is good, and the H&M and Kenzo collaboration sure is interesting. These are the clothes you would expect to see the coolest kids of London, New York and Tokyo in - and it's the Japanese influence that shines brightest.
Everyone needs at least one bold, colourful, different item of clothing in their closet. This AW, you might just find yours at H&M.
My pick of the entire bunch is this silk coat.
At €249, it's not exactly H&M's usual price point. It is, however, something you will have in your wardrobe forever, to be used at any time, for any occasion, at any age.
The most expensive piece - and it is a piece - is this incredible dress.
It's not to everyone's tastes, in fact, it would take a rare somebody to pull it off (Iman models it in the campaign). At €399 we won't cry over the fact that we'd look like we were dressing up for Halloween if we were to put it on.
There are pieces that suit a more modest budget. Here are out favourite five.
