Tartan is one of the most stunning and downright cool looks for this season.
It's thrown off its fuddy duddy image with vigour and romped down the catwalks looking meaner and leaner than ever. The high street has blazed the pattern over everything from tights to bags and shoes to shirts - and tartan jackets and coats are particularly stunning.
They're not strictly tartan, but check shirts are back and better than ever, while the key 60s staples of houndstooth and monochrome squares are fantastic on everything from knits to phone covers.
