Rosamund Pike has been around for ages but her BIG Big Break came last year when she starred in the massive hit Gone Girl. We've been watching her closely on the red carpet (hey, we're not stalkers, we watch everyone closely on the red carpet!) and we've been liking what we see.
A typical English Rose, she wears demure yet strangely alluring ensembles. If you want your look to be sweet and sexy then look no further for inspiration than Ms. Pike.
Her most recent red carpet appearance was at Variety Magazine's Creative Impact Awards and 10 Directors to Watch brunch on January 4th. Donning a simple black top, pleated midi-skirt and strappy black sandals (just look at that cute string tie!) she looked the epitome of elegance.
Pleated midi-skirts are still all over the shops - pick yours up in the sales now! - and you know you have a black top like that somewhere in your wardrobe; this is one look that can be so easily emulated.
