Guys! Guys! It's sale time again. Can you believe it? *eye roll*
In this day and age of sustainable fashion awareness, there seem to be a whole lotta sales going on. And a whole lotta shoppers. The high street is a fun place, especially when you pick up a bargain, but it's not the most ethical of environments. The trouble is, fast fashion has made us uber trendy people and a style habit is hard to quit.
Sometimes, I tell myself, I will have a capsule wardrobe and classy personal style that is timeless and not led by seasonal trends. That day won't come until I can afford to invest in premium quality pieces, though, so for the next, oh, forty years or so, I'll continue to pick up a bargain in the high street baskets.
The problem with sale shopping is that you end up buying off-trend pieces because you didn't get to try them the season they were 'in'. But, if the shoe (literally) fits, so be it.
I'm kind of obsessed with these guys from H&M. I want them for Easter and will wear all through summer.

Seriously, though, one always needs a pair (or collection) of black ankle boots.
You will definitely get wear out of these 'till at least August. Think about the cost per wear...
More boots, I know, but come on. These beauties have festival written all over 'em.
