Summer 17: Bet you never knew you could dress like a model with pieces you already have in your wardrobe
Summer 17 is an interesting place, sartorially speaking. Dresses over jeans, embellished pool sliders worn everywhere but the pool, and so on. So-called 'French style' is the dominating force behind this season's summer trends - but the outfit of the summer is a 90s twist on the theme.
It uses basic pieces, but it's so not basic. It's easy to put together, and you more than likely own everything this ensemble requires.
None other than Vogue Williams modelled the combo on Instagram, looking as annoying gorgeous as usual. Ignore her perfect face, though (and her knicks; our version won't be see-through). Look at the clothes. A Breton tee, a floral print skirt, and actual running runners.
Stripes and floral together is the style equivalent of grapes and cheese. It's a seemingly odd matching that's really complementary.
