Our edit of the best bomber jackets on the high street
We might still be in our winter coats, but we can wish for days with lighter jackets. The bomber jacket is everywhere for this season, so if you want to embrace the trend, we have edited our favourite styles from the high street. And we've catered for every budget, from blow-out to a bit more affordable. Can we have one of each, please?
Marks & Spencer
Who knew M&S would come up with something so trendy, huh? This jacket is part of the Limited Edition collection which is the brand's younger, hipper label. You can find lots of great things from this range for Spring Summer 2016, including this very stylish oriental print bomber jacket.
Topshop
Try a new texture like mesh, which has been a big catwalk trend. It's a good idea to seek out styles that have more than one colour so that the mash fabric really stands out. No price available on this one from Topshop yet, but we imagine it's a pricey one.
Miss Selfridge
You definitely do not have to limit yourself to dark colours with the bomber jacket trend and this dusky pink one certainly caught our eye. Try it with white skinny jeans over the spring. It's a bit more of an investment at €74.
Dorothy Perkins
The bomber look doesn't have to be casual; try a quilted style to add not only detail, but a little prettiness to a jacket that look a bit androgynous. This navy jacket from Dorothy Perkins is really feminine over a pussy-bow blouse and it's just €52.
New Look
A dressy way to wear a bomber jacket is to go for a more muted colour. We love this one from New Look; it's a metallic grey that has a great sheen for night. Style over denims or over a cocktail dress for a blogger inspired look. This one is just €29.99.
