Spain's Queen Letizia has Kate Middleton type influence when it comes to her style
Queen Letizia of Spain wore Zara to an event in Madrid this week. You may think she's doing an ole Katie M on it and showing she's down with the common folk, but don't forget that Zara is a Spanish brand. She's a walking, talking, beautiful royal ad.
It helps that Zara is brilliant and that dress looks like it was made especially for her. (Maybe it was?)

In fairness, it's the Queen's duty to support the brands of her country. If we were Queen of Ireland, we'd wear Penneys, sure. Actually, this dress is very like the Penneys gúna I wore to a wedding this summer. It's like an autumn version.
The dress is lovely. It's a handy piece to have, and it's demure and ladylike without being frumpy. It's still available to buy in Zara, online at least for an affordable €59.99. Who's getting on the Queen Letizia style train?
