Pantone named emerald green as the colour of 2013. Obviously as that's the colour of Oirland we were all delighted and dancing at the crossroads with the joy of it all.
But it doesn't have to be emerald - almost every shade of green is hot right now. Its been yonks since green has been really fashionable and the amount of fresh, striking shades in the shops is fantastic.
Feel uninhibited with green and forget that old saying "blue and green should never be seen" - clashing it with blue or orange is a showstopping combo. If you want to tone it down, green is surprisingly easy to pair with other colours and looks great with neutrals, black and white.
From moss to mint, olive to teal and bottle to lime, there actually IS a shade to suit everyone, regardless of hair colour or complexion. Brunettes, redheads and blondes unite: this is a colour for us all.
Let's have a look at some of what's available out there.
Wear green head-to-toe for a very striking look, or just nod to the trend by adding a green cami for example. Blazers look great in green and so do coloured denims. It's an attention grabber: use the shade to draw attention to your most striking features. Great legs? Green jeans are for you so.
Gorgeous green accessories.
Green jackets! Green SUEDE jackets! And can we include khaki in the trend? Yes, definitely.
