Amy Huberman models the coat of the season
Amy Huberman is lucky to be friends with stylist Ingrid Hoey. While we think Amy has very lovely personal style, it takes a pro to unearth a find like this.
Amy needed an outfit for the screening of her new show, Can't Cope, Won't Cope. And what does one wear to a screening of one's new show? Like Amy, we'd be inclined to go all-black. It's thespian-like, you know? But boring. Everyone needs a little something like this in your life to throw on over an otherwise all-black ensemble. I have a tropical print kimono top I picked up in Topshop. It serves me well.
Kimonos aren't very cold weather friendly, however. Coats are. Ok, this one is silk, but still. It's a coat.
Amy's number is from Finery London, and while I couldn't find the exact one, it's fair to say it would cost a bit. Luckily, duster coats are all over the place, as they are very handy transitional pieces. Following Amy's lead, we've chosen three dusters in cute prints. And these ones won't break the bank.

Dusters can be kimono style like the New Look version, or have a more trench coat vibe. Just be careful of the material and colour; they can trespass into fancy night-robe territory.
