Ladies and gents, get your decade-old furry gilets at the ready. Oliva Palermo is bringing them back
Even swathed head to toe in material, Olivia Palermo manages to be the chicest woman in the room. I'm all for modest style, actually, mostly because of the time it saves. You can forget about shaving and tanning; on general body grooming, really. Yes to cold weather style.
Olivia is wearing full designer, but you can make this look your own with pieces you probably already own; unless you gave them to the charity shop ten or twenty years ago. Luckily for me, I still have a collection of chokers tangled up together in my accessories pile, originally from the nineties but which had a second wind last year. I didn't give into the fur gilet thing last time it came around, but I do have the detached fur lining of a jacket I bought two years ago.
As for the dress, you may remember the M&S constellation dress that came out twice last year because it was so popular. It's almost a dead ringer for Olivia's. I didn't ever get one, but I found this new dress in & Other Stories that will totally do the job.

Olivia LOVES her chunky boots; she wears them all the time. If you haven't got yourself a pair of Docs yet (or dox, as I like to call them - the fake versions - I got a pair in Stradivarius), I passed All Saints today and spied these beauties in the window. SO Louis Vuitton.

And finally, if you through your Kate Moss gilet out and don't have the luxury of ripping a jacket's lining off, you can get one from Missguided.com for €61.
