The dress that hits all the trends for Autumn Winter 2016 that you can wear to work, for play and beyond
Warehouse is having a renaissance period right now. The brand reached peak popularity in the 1990s but has been sort of stagnant for the last few years. Now, in time for its 40th birthday, Warehouse is getting a makeover. Alasdhair Willis (Stella McCartney's husband) and Emma Cook have been drafted as brand consultant and designer respectively. And as this dress shows, they're off to a flying start.
Dark florals have been slowly edging their way back into style. Florals set on a moody hue are much more appealing, as they can be worn all year. I picked up a mid-length dark floral dress in the Zara sale in August. I'll be wearing it with black ankle boots and a Bella Hadid attitude.
This Warehouse dress is a much more flattering length, however. On shorties like me and those who are long of leg. Yes, the print is floral and yes, it's cool. The way to wear a mini dress this season is with ankle boots, high or low, but I can see this with loafers, ballet flats and runners, too. I'm always saying things like this, but this dress is a truly versatile piece.

The dress is surprising because of where it comes from and its print. Keep an eye out for future Warehouse gems, and grab all the dark florals you come across.
