Sales happen all throughout the year, but the January sales are on a different level.
I often talk about how there's only a tiny window in the year when there isn't a sale. These days, in the world of fast fashion, sales are constant. Go into any shop and there's a sale rail or a bargain basket - and it's not all the leftover, too trendy crap either. There is something about the January sales, though. Something special. There's an expectation that - if you're lucky - you'll find some really good bargains. Contrary to mad opinion, you don't have to queue outside BTs and race indoors to get the best stuff (have you seen those videos?!); there are investment pieces galore, and also those trend pieces you really wanted, and some are reduced to more than half the price.
