Season 5 of Netflix’s Orange is the New Black is fantastic with some more stellar flashbacks including one with Daya
If you’re up to date with the show, you no doubt saw episode 8 of the latest season in which there were flashbacks into the character of Daya’s (played by Dascha Polanco) teenagehood.
It shows her getting bad advice from her mother, Aleida (Elizabeth Rodriguez), about a boy.
Most importantly though, the character who played teenage Daya looked the spitting image of older Daya.
But it turns out this wasn’t just down to perfect casting…

Yup, Dascha's 15-year-old daughter, Dasany Kristal Gonzalez, is the actress who plays young Daya.
Mind blown.
