When I went to pick up this month's issue of Vogue magazine, I wondered briefly why an elderly gentleman was standing mesmerized by the Women's Interest section of the newsagent's shelves. And then I saw the cover of the June issue - the lovely Natalia Vodianova adorning it with not a stitch on, her modesty saved only by strategically placed headlines. I thought I'd give the gentleman the benefit of the doubt; perhaps I was only jumping to the conclusion that it was Natalia's lithe loveliness that had grabbed his attention, when in fact he may have been simply searching in the wrong section for a Reader's Digest or RTE Guide.
After all, we're used to seeing scantily-clad women (and sometimes men, but more often than not women) draped across the covers of all sorts of magazines these days, are we not? Maybe not, for in a supermarket the following week I noticed they taken the fashion supplement provided with Vogue this month and placed it in front of every issue of the magazine on the stands - protecting unsuspecting eyes from its underdressed cover model.

I personally quite like the cover. It ties in well with the theme of the issue (our bodies and how we feel about them) and is tastefully done. Natalia looks fit and healthy, though of course I'm seethingly jealous that she still looks that good naked after giving birth three times. So what's your take on the cover?
