The Only Way is Essex star Nanny Pat has sadly passed away following a short illness. Fans of the show will know Pat Brooker well as grandmother to Mark and Jess Wright, and for generally being a bit of a legend really.
Her family released a statement this morning: "Sadly our amazing, courageous, and beautiful Nanny Pat passed away this morning after a short illness.
"We are overwhelmed by sadness, and the whole family ask for privacy at this horrible time."
Nanny Pat had only recently celebrated her 80th birthday on the show, with a royal wedding themed birthday bash in Surrey.
