Tonight's Late Late Show lineup...

On this week's Late Late Show, Ryan will meet legendary singer Brush Shiels, who is fighting fit at aged 70-years-old after having a pacemaker put in. He's going to prove it too as he runs the first ever Late Late Over-70s Indoor/Outdoor 100-metres Pacemaker Challenge taking him from Fair City's Carrigstown to the Late Late studio floor. (Yep... this is really happening.) However if he manages to do it in his intended time of 14 seconds, bookmakers Paddy Power will give a donation to the Irish Cancer Society. No pressure then.

Brush will be getting some expert advice from one of Ireland's greatest athletes, Sonia O'Sullivan, as the Cobh native also joins Ryan in studio to discuss the great Chinese takeaway that saw her deprived of two gold medals at the World Championships in Stuttgart, as well as her opinion on what the future holds for athletics given the increasing amount of revelations of performance-enhancing drugs being used.

Also on the show tonight, Philip Boucher-Hayes will be talking about his new series on RTE at the moment, 'What Are You Eating?', which recently saw him ruin the chicken fillet roll for the nation (1,000 calories, y'all). We dread to think what Irish culinary delights he'll sabotage tonight.

Ryan will also be talking to Professor John Crown about why he's bowing out of politics, while there will be a panel chatting about the decline of rural Ireland, including independent TD Michael Fitzmaurice, the Irish Farmer's Journal's Mairead Lavery and businessman Peter Ward

Music then will be provided by Stockton's Wing, Pulse of Tradition and the breakout star of Centenary, Sibeal Ni Chasaide performing “Mise Éire”.

If you missed it, here was Sibeal's absolutely stunning performance at the Centenary concert...
