Last week was nice, wasn't it? Remember Thursday, when everyone happily charged around in flip flops, nodding and grinning at strangers before proclaiming "And on October 1st, would you believe it?!" As you can see, the fine spell's come to an end and autumn is properly here. Just be thankful you're not getting work done on your house, getting muck traipsed all over the joint.
According to reports, today and tomorrow are set to see a lot of rain fall as the UK gets hit with thunderstorms (Met Eireann has status Yellow warnings in place), while Wednesday and Thursday will be fairly average (so grey, but not windy. A bit 'meh' but manageable). Friday, however, sees the tail end of hurricane Joaquin will whip its way across the Atlantic, causing torrential downpours and gael force winds.
