This was bound to happen. Given Katy's reported feelings regarding Taylor Swift, her involvement in the VMA nominations debate was almost inevitable.
In case you need to bring yourself up to speed - Nicki Minaj wasn't happy with only getting two nominations for Anaconda. Taylor Swift wasn't happy with some of her tweets, and then Kim Kardashian 'inadvertently' got herself involved.

According to Us Weekly, Nicki Minaj was among the first to favourite Perry's tweet. She also Instagrammed articles prompted by her exchange with Swift. She captioned the below:
