At this stage, we can all easily accept that Love Actually is up there with the classics when it comes to Christmas movies. It follows ten individual stories over the holiday season, some heartbreaking, some triumphant and some bittersweet.
However, there was one story that was left on the editing room floor. It follows a stern headmistress who returns home to her dying partner who we later learn doesn't make it to Christmas. Gut wrenching stuff altogether.
It also would have been the only same-sex relationship in the movie, unless you count Bill Nighy's and his manager, which we don't.
The start of the clip sees director Richard Curtis explain why it didn't make the final cut, but dammit we wish it did.
