Personally, I'm pretty excited about seeing the Spice Girls (stop. right. now. thankyouverymuch) but if you are more of a film buff, pick up your rucksack 'cos the Hunger Games are coming for you.
We'll get the popcorn, you get the slanket and we'll see you on the couch.

TOTP 90's BBC Two 11.30
The nineties brought its fair share of musical talent to the world stage with the likes of Nirvana having their name permanently cemented in the history of rock and roll. This Top of the Pops special will feature some of the best performances from the decade of dungarees and scrunchies and will include appearances and promo videos taken from long-running music show.
So you can have a good old Friday nostalgic dance-off to the likes of the Spice Girls, Michael Jackson, Pulp, the Prodigy, Madonna, Blur and Take That.
Isle of Wight Music Festival Sky Arts 1 9pm
Festival season has very much taken hold and if you're not wandering around Ballinlough castle at Body and Soul this weekend, you can get your taster of festival action from the highlights of the Isle of Wight festival last weekened.
With 60,00 in attendance, the festival boasted one of it's greatest lineups yet with the likes of Biffy Clyro, Kings of Leon and Red Hot Chilli Peppers all performing. You'll get a front row view of all the action, without the need to trek through mucky fields, we call that a win!

The Beatles: The Night That Changed America - A Grammy Salute UTV 10.45pm
I'm fairly certain we all come out of the womb knowing the lyrics to Beatles songs, and hopefully it will always be that way with the Fab Four. This special will commemorate the 50th anniversary of their ground-breaking first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show and celebrate their legacy.
It will feature songs performed on that momentous evening in 1964, as well as Beatles hits through the years which will be covered by some of the biggest names in music, including Maroon 5, Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, John Legend, and Eurythmics - who will reunite for one night only. AND... Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr team up to perform Hey Jude and With a Little Help from My Friends! Now, you can't bate that.

When Jennifer Lawrence first signed up to The Hunger Games, she could have no idea of the stardom and accolades that were just down the road for her, the people who made this movie must be thanking their lucky stars they have her penned in!
She plays a teenage girl living in a dystopian world where an annual nationally televised event takes place in two children from each of its regions fight to the death until only one remains. Her younger sister gets called to compete but she takes her place in the games must pit her wits against the deadly combat skills of her rivals. Intense wha'? But no better woman and all that!

It's no other than the Taoiseach himself on having the chats with Gay Byrne tonight about the people, events and beliefs that have shaped his life and values.
The politician is know for being quite guarded about his personal life despite being such a public figure, however, his beliefs and values have both moulded, and been shaped by, his political life. This will undoubtedly be watched by most of the nation tonight as we all gain an insight into the mind of the leader of our country.
