Hi everyone, I hope you are enjoying my weekly articles so far. And thanks for all the great feedback on last week's weights workout, glad you liked my gifs!
I love writing for Beaut and there's so much I can talk about. At the weekend something cropped up and I wanted to share it with you. It's a touchy subject for some but I want to discuss it any way.
Results are something a lot of my clients and friends have in mind when they start their fitness journey. People start training with me mostly with a goal in mind, weddings, holidays or just want to improve their image and health in general. And my favourite part of my job is people's reactions when they reach their goals, it makes me so happy.
They say that it takes four weeks for you to notice your body changing, eight weeks for your friends to notice and 12 weeks for the rest of the world. This is true enough I suppose and it's certainly not just about inches or pounds lost though. Reaching a goal is so satisfactory; we take pride in ourselves when we do well.
And for people who take on health and fitness goals, they are experiencing the satisfaction of reaching targets and in most cases a new lease of life too. Dietary changes and improved fitness levels can increase energy and lift moods. I notice my clients confidence levels are boosted after a few weeks of training.
Another thing I love about my job is the relationships I form with clients, most of them will give me really honest feedback and progress reports. So when I discuss topics like goals and results with them I get a really good idea of what they think about it. Many will let me know if they've thrown out old clothes and bought new jeans. Some send me photos of them looking fab on nights out or on holidays and I've even received Thank You cards from clients who have reached their targets and felt great. It's the best feeling ever to be involved in so many successful journeys and it makes my day when I see a happy client.
I can't take all the credit of course, the results come from hard work and sticking to the plan. Only my clients can do that for themselves.

Nearly two years ago I started running ladies' group courses to make gym time more fun and also more affordable. The classes run twice a week for six weeks and are just as tough as personal training but the girls get to train with friends and encourage each other to make it through each session. There's often cheering and high-fives when the girls reach their goals at the end of the course.
A few weeks back, a good few girls from the classes were on our Hell & Back team and did a great job managing the obstacles (you can check us out in all our muddy glory here).
Here's one of the girls results after 12 weeks of hard training and clean eating, that’s just two of our six week courses. I think she looks fab and I’m so proud of her, what do you think?
At the moment we're half way through a course, the next one starts on the 28th October, classes run Wednesday's at 7pm and Saturday's at 12pm. If you are interested in joining please message me for more information. Places fill up fast as most clients sign up again and again!
